I have put together The Fairfield Dollhouse before, but this time I want to try different finishes and explore some optional modifications which I will cover here.
It took me several days to sand all the pieces and repair some that broke while being removed from their sheets. I can easily identify the parts because I have experience with tab-and-slot dollhouses, but if you are a beginner, it's best to keep all parts in their sheets until the instructions tell you to use them.
Handheld weights are useful for holding down warped pieces, like the first floor. Once the glue dries, the floor stays nice and straight.
