Photobucket has changed their terms of service and is no longer allowing 3rd party hosting. For this reason, my photos are no longer available for viewing. I am keeping the blog posts up so at least the text can be read.

I am currently in the process of migrating this blog onto Facebook. This will allow for the photos to be viewed again.

This process will take some time. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Whether you're an experienced builder or new to the hobby, I've gathered material from all over the web to produce the most complete, tab and slot, dollhouse assembly blog you can find.
Tip: 1. Read through all of the instructions that came with your kit first. 2. Find your dollhouse in this blog by using the drop down menu below. 3. Read through the building process in its entirety before beginning your project. Happy building!

The Lily Dollhouse Day 11

After everything had dried over night, I painted and installed the front roof trim. Remember it’s a like a hood over your brackets and it rests flush to the front edge of the roof edge trim. Again clamp and let dry. Spackle everything and touch up paint.

I installed all of the porch trim and hand rails on the porch. The hand rails have to be labeled carefully because they can become mixed up or lost easily. They all basically look the same.

I installed the towers bottom trim, which creates the foundation for the tower.

I installed the porch steps and side steps on the dollhouse. I decided to go ahead and install the optional railing that came for them.

I installed all of the corner trims on each corner of the dollhouse. These pieces should also be labeled carefully because each one is cut to the right length of where it goes.

I primed the third floor. I primed all of the edges of the small narrow wall because that will need wallpapering as well.
